Alita/Gally 3d model (GUNNM manga fanart), Zbrush screenshots.
I've had to use HD geometry (100mil polys) to make thin lines (using a laptop with 1gb ram for this was a real pain) - I've had to switch back and forth.
Also, because of using a HD geometry, I was unable to do retopology and features like that - hd sculpt would be lost otherwise.
It has taken about four months of my time.
Also, it has screwed up some normal maps regions, making the thin lines look jagged (8k maps weren't enough), so I've had to redo broken regions and parts of displacement maps in vector using photoshop and inkscape.

Nice, Zbrush is hard to get the hang of, especially on 1 gig of ram!
